Matt Carroll Atlanta Braves takes pride in his philanthropic contributions to the community. He regularly gives his time, talents, and treasure to various causes close to his heart. The Tony LaRussa Animal Rescue Foundation and the annual Phillies Phestival fundraiser for ALS are two of his favorite causes. Carroll also helped organize a 5k event to support research into ovarian cancer. Carroll is an avid runner, and completed the Philadelphia Marathon in November 2016 in honor of his mother who lost her battle with ovarian cancer.
